Roles and Responsibilities :

Data Researcher

  • Understand GMP / SOP within the company
  • Research thoroughly using all available resources including personal contact, directories and the internet to define the professional certification and medical interests of the various healthcare professionals and institutions
  • Perform regular database maintenance based on information received from returned mail, licensing boards, internet, and client files
  • Perform clean-up of the healthcare professional and institution database from internal quality control listings
  • Perform manual portions of client match jobs
  • Update client flags and organization files based on information received from the client
  • Manage inbound/outbound calls for order taking, and contact information verification
  • Miscellaneous research as assigned
  • Maintain accurate timesheets

Quality Control

  • Ensure all company procedures and protocols are followed
  • Review incoming ‘Production Job Dockets’
  • Sets up individual ‘Computerized Production Timesheet’ for each job
  • Produce ‘Picking Reports’ for all fulfillment jobs
  • Produce and check extensions for shipping labels
  • Carry out random quality control checks on all production related jobs
  • Complete exit checks on direct mail projects
  • Perform specific quality control checks on lotted product fulfillments
  • Sign-off on ‘On Hold’ flags authorizing release of lotted product fulfillments
  • Review finalized ‘Computerized Production Timesheets’ for accuracy
  • Complete checklist information on ‘Computerized Production Timesheet’
  • Update the job bag maintenance file and print production schedules
  • Carry out quality control checks on product related receiving reports
  • Oversee the storage of job bags
  • Maintain log history of archived job bags
  • Perform random self-audits on specific Product Fulfillment Job Dockets

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Must have a post secondary education, with a minimum of 2 years experience in a computerized cataloguing environment

  • Fast and accurate alpha/numeric typing
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and research skills
  • Excellent communication skills and phone manners
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to react quickly to changing procedures, manage multiple priorities, execute tasks, and meet tight timelines in a high-pressure environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • High proficiency in computer and internet use including Microsoft Office and electronic resources
  • Oral and written proficiency in English and French
